1 Bag of tortilla chips
1 lb ground turkey
2 cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend works best)
1 cup black beans (it can be canned, if so make sure to drain)
1/2 cup of diced fresh tomato
1/4 cup of diced fresh onion
1/2 cup of salsa of your choice
1/2 cup of sour cream
2 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
1.- In a large skillet with cooking spray, cook ground turkey until brown. I like seasoning mine with some garlic salt and crushed black pepper and about 1/4 cup of chopped onion.
2.- Use a serving platter or large plate and place tortilla chips onto it (make sure you spread them evenly).
3.- Add the rest of the ingredients in layers, as follows: tortilla chips, ground turkey, black beans, shredded cheese, onion, tomato, salsa, sour cream and chopped cilantro.
Remember you can add or exclude ingredients according to your family's taste.
This is perfect for Monday dinner since it is Football Night :)
