Nighttime Zoo "China Celebration!"

This Saturday June 25th the San Diego Zoo will kickoff their Nighttime Zoo event which runs through Labor Day.

This year's theme is Asian inspired "China Celebration" and goes accordingly with preparations for the grand opening of the new Panda exhibit "Panda Trek" where not only Giant Pandas will be relocated, but also Takins, Mang Mountain pit Viper and more.

The new exhibit will allow zoo goers to lean, comprehend and understand more of the world of Pandas and the animals they share forests in China with.

The celebration begins at the Zoo entrance. There will be a band and performances will be from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. everyday on the hour.

Golden Lion Chinese Acrobats will perform, Monkey King Stilt walkers, trampoline acts and much more! Check the Zoo's schedule on the Zoo map as you arrive for performance times and locations.

Huānyíng zài dòngwùyuán xiàtiān!

which means: "Welcome to summer at the Zoo!"
